Unlocking the future of space biotech and astronaut health, the BIF is where biomanufacturing meets space exploration, from medicine production to bio fabrication for deep-space missions. 

How will we keep astronauts healthy, produce medicine in space, or grow biological materials for deep-space missions? The Biologics Innovation Facility (BIF) at UTS is where the future of space biomanufacturing begins. 

The BIF is a world-class testbed for space agencies, biotech innovators, and life sciences researchers developing medicines, regenerative therapies, and bio fabrication solutions for space and extreme environments. Featuring a GMP-simulated testbed to de-risk biopharma, it also trains the next-generation workforce in biotech processes crucial for long-term space exploration
