Established in 2019 under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbekspace Agency is the national body responsible for the development and implementation of the country’s space policy and programs.

Now operating under the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the Agency focuses on remote sensing, GIS applications, space education, regulatory development, and international cooperation. Uzbekspace is actively working on Uzbekistan’s national space strategy, developing infrastructure, and engaging in global partnerships to advance peaceful space exploration and technology transfer
