The International Deep Space Exploration Association (IDSEA) is an international, academic, and non-profit social organization, initiated voluntarily by individuals and institutions engaged in the field of space and deep space exploration. It is the first academic organization dedicated in Deep Space Exploration and is the first academic organization initialed by China Aerospace. The headquartered of IDSEA is located in Heifei, China.

IDSEA is jointly initiated by the Deep Space Exploration Laboratory (DSEL), the Lunar Exploration and Space Engineering Center (LESEC) of CNSA, the Chinese Society of Astronautics (CSA), the Chinese Society of Space Researches (CSSR), and Planetary Exploration Horizon 2061, together with 51 global academicians & scientists.

The mission of the Association is to promote international exchange and cooperation in the field of deep space exploration, to disseminate knowledge and values related to deep space science, to advance scientific and technological progress as well as academic development in deep space exploration, to explore the unknown universe, and to contribute to the advancement of human civilization.
