NAF:
The National Institute for Astrophysics (Istituto Nazionale di Astrofisica, INAF) is the main Italian research institution for the study of the Universe. It promotes, carries out, and coordinates research activities in the fields of astronomy and astrophysics, also within the framework of European Union programs and international organizations, in collaboration with universities and other public and private entities, national, international, and foreign.
INAF designs and develops innovative technologies and cutting-edge instrumentation for the study and exploration of the Cosmos. It promotes the dissemination of scientific culture through educational projects and astronomy outreach initiatives aimed at schools and society.
COSPAR:
The Committee on Space Research (COSPAR) is the world’s leading organization for advancing space science. Dedicated to fostering international collaboration, COSPAR creates a dynamic platform for all space scientists worldwide to exchange knowledge, share goals, address challenges in space science, and collaborate without barriers.
Established in 1958, COSPAR is a global space network of national scientific institutions, recognized by the International Science Council (ISC), and international scientific unions affiliated with the ISC, cooperating to advance space science. We welcome both public and private industry, as well as academic institutions, to join COSPAR. Any scientist involved in space research can become a COSPAR Associate.
COSPAR unites a global network of more than 14,000 space scientists, fostering innovation and collaboration across all space science disciplines to benefit humanity.
