The Call for Late Breaking Abstracts (LBA) for the 76th International Astronautical Congress is officially OPEN!
You have just three weeks to showcase your latest discoveries. Do NOT miss this chance to present your cutting-edge research as Interactive Presentations (IP) in Sydney!
This is your opportunity to share revolutionary findings that emerged after the regular abstract deadline (March 7). By submitting an LBA, you agree to present your work in person and provide a full paper if selected.
🗓️ Submission Window: 20 May – 6 June 2025 (23:59 CEST)


How to Submit Your LBA:
- Log in at IAC Submission Platform.
- Navigate to the Submission System and choose IAC 2025 Late Breaking Abstract (LBA).
- Select the appropriate Symposium for your topic.
- Submit a concise 150-word abstract with a title.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must present new data or significant findings from the space sector.
- No case studies or encore abstracts accepted.
- Cannot revise an earlier submission or have been presented elsewhere.
- One LBA submission per author only.
Key Deadlines:
- LBA Submission: 20 May – 6 June 2025 (no extensions)
- Selection Results: Third week of June 2025
- Registration Deadline: 5 September 2025
- Interactive Presentation Submission: 10 September 2025
- Manuscript Submission: 12 September 2025

GNF Sessions and Abstract Submissions for IAC 2025 in Sydney are officially closed. Thank you to all who shared their research and ideas—we received an incredible response from across the global space community.
The review process is now underway, with authors set to be notified in the next few weeks. Stay tuned as we shape a technical program that will showcase the latest breakthroughs and boldest advancements in space.
We look forward to welcoming you to IAC 2025 in Sydney, 29 September – 3 October at ICC Sydney.
